Meet Humphrey
Potential home found
Humphrey is a handsome young man with a bit of a cheeky side. He is very curious and can sometimes encroach your personal space, but only in an inquisitive way. Humphrey was rehomed from one of our other centres as a yearling but returned within 12 months for behavioural issues. However, we put this down to natural youthful exuberance and the fact he had minimal equine contact in the early stages of his life. He has grown up a lot since then and has become more sensible as he's matured. During his time at Hall Farm he has proved to be good to handle and not caused any problems. He gets on well with others and is a nice little pony. Humphrey could be backed to ride in the future if the rehomer has previous experience of this, although he would be more suited to a small adult or experienced teenager than a younger child. If backed Humphrey will have a maximum rider weight limit of 7.5 to 8 stones
Important stuff
Humphrey could be worked in the future.
History
Humphrey came into our care in October 2020, after being found kept in a garage on a housing estate, he was only a few months old and completely by himself. He was very thin and malnourished on arrival. He was rehomed as a youngster but returned in January 2023 to be reassessed for the next stages of his life.
