Meet Flight of Fancy

Flight is a beautiful skewbald mare and is an absolute delight to spend time with. She has been a joy to work with since her arrival at the farm and is now ready to be rehomed as a hacking pony. Flight is a lovely mare to ride and enjoys her job of hacking around the countryside with her groom. She has a very sensible head on her and is lovely to hack out in walk trot and canter. Flight is very laid back when out in company but is more forward going and will have the odd spook when out alone. She would not be suited to a nervous or novice rider as she does take a lot of confidence from her rider when hacking out alone. Flight is simply adorable, and her groom always gets a whinny when she goes to bring her in for a pamper; she loves being around people and is a type hard to find. Due to her age and conformation, she is strictly a hacking pony and not suitable for any schooling or jumping. Flight is brilliant to handle, and someone will absolutely adore having her on loan, however, she does like to be a sassy mare if she is asked to stand still for too long. Flight can be a typical mare on occasions in the field so is always near the top of the pecking order and never a push over with other horses. In typical cob fashion she manages to gain weight on fresh air so must be kept on restricted grazing to keep the weight off; a home with other good doers would suit her best. Please be aware that Flight will have a maximum rider weight limit of 11 stone. If you think that Flight sounds like the right hacking pony for you, please apply online.
