Meet Max

Max is an extremely handsome boy with a lot of presence. He is a bit of a worrier and when he gets insecure he can be a bit spooky. He will require an experienced handler as he is not always aware of your personal space and as he is such a big horse it is vital he is given firm boundaries from the start. However Max is a friendly horse who loves attention and in a regular routine he is generally good to handle and quite polite. Max is not suitable to ride due to lameness issues when worked, but he mixes well with others and he will make a lovely non-ridden companion.

Important stuff

Max can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Max is not suitable to be worked.

History

Max formed part of a large welfare concern
