Meet Midnight

Midnight is an eye-catching mare who often turns heads at Hall Farm. She is an affectionate mare who enjoys fuss and attention. Midnight is generally a polite mare and good to handle, but due to her size it is easy to forget how young she is, and that she will still have her baby moments. It is important she goes to a home with previous experience of foals/youngsters that can continue her education, so she has the right start to her future. Midnight's colouring leaves her prone to sunburn so she will need to wear a UV fly mask in summer and be stabled part of the day if the sun is strong. This is something Midnight has become used to at Hall Farm and she is happy to be stabled for her protection. Midnight will never be suitable to ride due to some joint issues, but she can still provide a valuable role as a non ridden companion.

Important stuff

Midnight can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Midnight is not suitable to be worked.

History

Midnight was born at Hall Farm after her pregnant mother arrived as a signed over welfare concern.
