Meet Benedict

Benedict is ready to rehome as a non ridden companion. He is a lovely chap, who just wants to please. He came to us quite wary and nervous, and his groom has worked hard to gain his trust and increase his confidence. He has come on immensely well in his time here, and we would love to find him a quiet home where he can be fussed over. Benedict doesn't like a lot of movement on a yard, so for this reason we feel a livery yard would not suit him. He would be better suited to a small private yard with a few other horses, where he will not be left on his own. He is good to catch, handle, and groom, and just needs a quiet approach with the vet and farrier. Benedict is currently living out, but will come into a stable as part of a routine to be groomed, or he equally loves a groom whilst out in the field. If you can offer this lovely horse a home, please apply online.

Important stuff

Benedict can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Benedict is not suitable to be worked.

History

Benedict came into Penny Farm with another pony after they were found abandoned.
