Meet Tyson

Tyson is an adorable big teddy bear who you can’t help but fall in love with as he’s such a lovely boy. He is an adorable old boy who is looking for a new home as a companion where he can be spoilt in his golden years. Tyson would need a home with other big horses as he needs a decent amount of grazing to maintain his condition, especially during the winter months. He will need additional forage and a rug over the winter to keep him happy and cosy. As Tyson is an older horse with arthritis, we have found that he does not cope well in fields that have slopes so he would be more comfortable in a home with reasonably flat land. Tyson is a very easy-going chap who is happy to live with mares or geldings and never causes any trouble. He would love a home where he will be pampered as he had a hard time before arriving with us. He is not a fan of being stabled but does like a field shelter out in the field where he can come and go as he pleases. Tyson is a very well-mannered horse for all of his handling and stands well for vet or farrier visits. If you think this handsome horse sounds right to join your horses, please apply online.

Important stuff

Tyson can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Tyson is not suitable to be worked.

History

Tyson came into World Horse Welfare's care with four other horses after their owner could no longer look after them.
