Velvet is a beautiful mare with a temperament to match. She is a lovely, sensible and willing lady who is good to handle and very polite. Velvet gets on well with others and exudes a sense of authority about her that earns her the respect of the herd. She seems to automatically be accepted as the natural leader without having to be bossy to others. Velvet is not suitable to ride but with her wise attitude and lovely nature, she will be a welcome addition to any yard.
