Meet Ginger

Ginger is ready to rehome as a non ridden companion. He is a lovely friendly horse who loves attention. He would be better suited to a quiet private home with the same people handling him, as he builds up trust in his handlers and can be a little wary of those he is not used to. Ginger is currently living out with a rug and shelter but will come into a stable as part of a routine to be groomed and fussed over. He gets on very well with others and quite likes a quiet life. He is good to catch for those he knows although food always help. He is good to handle and behaves well for the vet and farrier. Ginger might need his weight watching a little in the spring/summer months. He doesn't like being left on his own so needs a home where he will have the company of another equine friend at all times. If you can offer Ginger a home, please apply online.

Important stuff

Ginger can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Ginger is not suitable to be worked.

History

Ginger came into Penny Farm after his owner could no longer look after him.
