Right now, the cost of living crisis is seeing the UK’s most vulnerable horses suffer in greater numbers than ever. Our latest TV adverts highlight the appalling suffering of hundreds of horses across the UK, showing terrible situations and featuring real horses who we have been able to help thanks entirely to donations.

In recent weeks we have seen a 43% increase in welfare enquiries and as a result our four Rescue and Rehoming Centres are already near capacity.

Much of what our dedicated Field Officers face happens out of public view with horses suffering needlessly because of lack of food and proper care. The persistent poor weather means that we aren’t expecting it to get any better any time soon as horses struggle in mud-soaked fields with little grazing.

Please can you help today?

One of our adverts features Seamus, the Clydesdale horse who was found so emaciated, Seema – our Field Officer who went to his aid – called him a ‘giant skeleton’. The other tells the story of Barney who was trapped inside a horsebox, covered in sores and living in appalling conditions.

Alongside Seamus and Barney, there are other terrible cases of neglect and abuse, all of whom we could only have reached thanks to the help of people who care about horses.

By setting up a monthly gift of £3 or whatever you can afford, you will ensure we are there for horses in desperate need of help.

Thank you.
